Wastraloka is a miscellaneous goods brand from Yogyakarta, an ancient city lined with workshops for traditional Indonesian crafts. It comes from the Sanskrit words wastra, which means traditional textiles, and loka, which means heaven. Traditional batik patterns are hand-painted one by one by artists and craftsmen on everyday items made from enamel and tin made from leftover materials from local refrigerator manufacturers.
